Bella is not a yellow dog all of a sudden. We are dogsitting our friend's pup, Barkley. He drove all the way over from Leavenworth, so, naturally, he doesn't understand, "Sit," or, "come," unless you say it in Bavarian.

So I'm told.

As Bella sleeps at the foot of Haley's bed, Barquley (as I like to spell his name) sleeps on Bella's bed. I will sleep in Riley's bed and Rye will sleep on the futon downstairs.

It's a mess here.

None of the above is true, except for the dogsitting thing.

Go Seahawks!

Taken in my friend Annie's business' courtyard. Me, my friend Jim, the kids and Bella hung out while Marci got a much needed massage. We played photographer and baseball.

Here you see Riley, who is a natural righty, batting lefty. Go figure, but he has a pretty good swing.

We are in Leavenworth. We do not have free web access in our condo. I have tried to tether my BlackBerry with no success.

My friend Jim has let me borrow his Canon T1i while we've been here and it's been incredible. I am in love with this camera and am already dreading going back to the old XT.

Anyway, on a little tour of Leavenworth, I saw this door and thought it was cool. If you can see this picture, then I have somewhat succeeded. See you tomorrow.
