OK. Computer is pretty much back to normal. If I were more ambitious, I'd rearrange my hard drives. With all the photos I've been taking, my good ol' 120gb drive is getting full. My secondary drive is getting tight as well.

The plan is to take some real pictures tomorrow and upload them after some post. I have a bunch of California pix to catch up on as well.

In the meantime, I changed my desktops to some of my recent favorite shots.

We have bamboo growing in the back yard. This actually looks kind of cool. It's about 4 feet high and fairly harmless. If I panned to the left a little, you'd see the insane bamboo growing, about 8 to 10 feet high, and roots probably just as deep.

What a mess.

I am feeling really uninspired this month. Don't know what it is. This strawberry is our lone strawberry. I'm guessing a crow will get it soon.

I need to get out tomorrow somewhere to shoot. It's Tuesdays with Riley tomorrow (his therapy day) so maybe I'll get some then.

I tried to edit out the ratty berries behind the main one but my PS skills are lacking. :(

It's a skillet corn bread cake bread thing. Marci made it for some acquaintances that had a baby last week. She also made chili (turkey. yum), and a salad for said family.

Unfortunately, this cornbread skillet thing didn't make it. You see, as beautiful as it was in the cast iron skillet, it tasted the opposite of how it looked. Like she lit it on fire, then gave it to me to try (she's allergic).

I don't disparage Marci's cooking because she's a freakin' great cook. However, because this was on its way to a friend's house, I had to be honest with her.

Also, it was such a lousy weather day, I didn't take but 5 pictures today and 3 were of the corn bread. Skillet thing.
