Bella is not a yellow dog all of a sudden. We are dogsitting our friend's pup, Barkley. He drove all the way over from Leavenworth, so, naturally, he doesn't understand, "Sit," or, "come," unless you say it in Bavarian.

So I'm told.

As Bella sleeps at the foot of Haley's bed, Barquley (as I like to spell his name) sleeps on Bella's bed. I will sleep in Riley's bed and Rye will sleep on the futon downstairs.

It's a mess here.

None of the above is true, except for the dogsitting thing.

I'm in California the next few days visiting with my in-laws. Today we participated in a 4th of July parade in San Clemente, CA. In this town there are lots of people with golf carts. This parade was no exception.

I had my 70-210mm lens on today as it was super sunny. That lens works best in bright light. We were out with Bella delivering Girl Scout cookies when the aforementioned dog yawned. I picked up the camera and this is what I got.
