Today we had Riley's birthday party. Pirates was the theme, hence the bad-ass do-rag on my head.

Marci went to a friend's birthday party tonight. The flowers in the 40th Birthday mug are hand prints of her friend's kids and our kids. 40 prints. She cut them all by hand, then attached them all to straws to create the bouquet. Pretty impressive.

Just as impressive were the cupcakes she created for the party. I didn't get any shots of those, though. :(

Haley had her birthday party today. It was "bug" themed. We literally went hiking and looked at bugs. With 14 seven and eight year olds! It was less screamy than you'd think.

Luckily the weather cooperated with us. The shot of the feet was towards the end of the party and the kids were getting ready to play Tag. Katri (shoe left) chose by doing an eenie meenie miney moe thing with the feet. I just wish I didn't catch her bending down to point at the feet (that's her in the upper left corner).

This picture should go in my "Riley being Riley" album on Facebook, but he wanted it to be my P365 picture instead. We were invited to a friend's birthday party today and Rye and I went as Haley was at another friend's party. It took place in the Tyee Community Gym over by Somerset and the kids all had a great time. Can't you tell?
