Today was sunny and cold, but not cold enough to keep the kids from chalk drawing outside.

From left to right, we have Riley, Haley and their friend, Cameron's portraits.

Everyone was having fun until my mean old neighbor told the kids to not draw in front of his house as he said it wasn't going to rain the next few days and he didn't want the street to be all colored in chalk.

What a grump. I told the kids we were going to TP his house tonight.

We had a Christmas party tonight so I knew I wouldn't have time to shoot at home so I took a picture of the sun at work.

I took the day off work today because the kids had the day off from school. We ran around all day, hitting appointments (Haley, Bella and Haley), and then, at the end of it, me and Rye went to the park at Crossroads.

Marci met us there later and on the way out, I saw this cool grate in a covered area. I put the camera on the ground and hit the shutter.

Stay tuned for a set from our hour at the park.

I took a bunch of shots today in Murietta and Temecula but didn't want to go through all the steps. This one shot upload via my phone is pretty cool. Hopefully the picture looks cool on a real screen.

Marci, Riley and I headed to the Crossroads park today. It was GORGEOUS out and we were able to get some much needed sun rays on bare skin.

I saw these kids skating in the covered area by the bathrooms so I moseyed over and asked if I could take some pix. They were happy to oblige, though they used strange words like, "hella" and "dope".

:)

Anyway, I took a bunch of shots and tried to make them look cool. I liked this one because 1) the kid is obviously airborne, 2) there's little background clutter (re: other kids, etc), and 3) there's clearly a "no skateboarding" sign in the corner.

Oops.

They were cool though, and enthused that I wasn't a pedophile.

Remember! Skateboarding (and photography) is not a crime!
