Had about 45 minutes free today so I drive down under I-90 just past Newport Shores and walked around. This biker rode past me and I turned around and blind shot him.

He survived, thankfully.

My new best friend. I'm trying to wait until tomorrow morning to take my next Allegra pill. So far I feel ok but I can tell I may go downhill soon.

My doctor says I need to lower my blood pressure so instead of reading at lunch and breaks I took a few power walks. Here's our fire lane at work.

Some new mods were released for my phone today, so of course, I'm trying them out.

Haley has been devouring the Harry Potter books. On Sunday, we hit up two Half-Price books looking for HP4 and couldn't find it used in paperback. Then I checked Craigslist and found someone selling all 7 books, new in shrinkwrap for $35. That's $5/book!

I picked it up for her today and think it'll make a fab birthday present for her next month. Keep it secret!

This is Haley one year ago today. To my eyes, she pretty much looks the same. She has changed a lot, though. She's gotten a lot better at keeping her temper/attitude in check lately; our conflicts have been down quite a bit.


She's also taken a shine to the piano. Apparently she's the best in her class and tomorrow is her first recital. I think she'll do great (I won't see it though; gotta work) but she's being a little tenative about it.

Anyway, she's a hoot and I love her dearly.
