I shot this jpg to see how it looked. So, how does it look?

Anyway, today Haley turned 8. She got her long desired skateboard, pads and helmet. She's always been a coordinated little girl and today on the skateboard, she continued to prove that quality.

She started off in the kitchen going about 3 feet. Then it was in the hallway, going about 10. Later, since it was raining out, she skated inside the garage. That was about 8-10 feet back and forth. But she was able to lift the front end off a little and swivel to turn. Quite cool.

We took her to her desired dinner destination (Rainforest Cafe) and then got home. At home, it was sunny and dry so, of course, she had to get her skate on once more. I caught her in front of my neighbor's house, pondering her next move.
