My brother and SIL went on a China tour last month. One of the things they brought home was this.

I don't know what to call it, but Marci elegantly called it a "Chinese hackysack".

Which is kind of what it is.

It has a bunch of silver dollar sized washers (below the red numbers) to keep it weighted down, and up top are the feathers. This is a top down view.

Apparently my mom was quite nimble footed with these when she was a wee lass.
